Can I order from your website
and have the teas delivered outside Italy?
Unfortunately the answer is no. However, most of our
country specific distributors have an online shop where our teas are sold. If you
would ike to find out more, just wite us an email!
Do you wholesale to retail businesses
and/or HoReCa?
We do indeed! Please send us an email with more information
about yourself and we'll be happy to get in touch with you.
I love your tins... can I buy
them without the tea?
We do not sell empty tins, as these were very prone to
damage in transit. Many would arrived dented, and the cost of mailing replacements
soon grew prohibitively high.
Ok, I'm almost convinced.....Can
I get a free sample?
We love it when you feel so enticed by our products that
you just can't wait to taste them, but unfortunately we do not mail out free
samples. However, our refill pouches are very reasonably priced, so we hope that
you will visit us once more and select a few that you'd like to try.
I've been reading a lot about
tea's benefits lately. Which tea is good for my health?
Please visit our page for the latest articles about tea's amazing health benefits.
What is the correct temperature
for your teas/how long should they steep?
You will be happy to know that every tea that we
ship out has detailed instructions on the label. If you'd like to find out more
about sttping times and water temperature, etc., we suggest you visit our Tea Education
pages where you'll find lots of detailed information about tea.
How do I make iced tea?
Making iced tea from tea leaves tastes great, and it is
quite easy! There are actually 2 methods you can try: METHOD 1) Brew your tea
as usual, and let cool in your refrigerator overnight;or METHOD 2) Double the amount
of tea leaves (use 4g per 200ml), and brew as usual (3-5 minutes for most black
teas). Once the tea is ready, dilute with an equal amount of ice, and voila;
Quasi-instant iced tea! Garnish with mint or lemon, and enjoy...
Are you teas organic?
Even though some of our teas are organic, most of them
are not. As unfortunate as it may sound, it is simply because experience has taught
us that most organic teas are simply lower quality. We know it sounds awful, but
we simply do not feel comfortable selling you an iffy tasting tea and charge you
more for it just because it is organic.
Are your teas Fair Trade?
There are only a handful of Fair Trade tea estates in
the world, although several tea companies buy from these estates! In fact, they
are so few that anything they put their name on is exponentially more expensive
and it generally turns out to be significantly lower quality. Don't get us wrong:
we support the idea, but for now we have decided to wait until the quality catches
up to the hype!
Are your teas kosher?
Good news: Any unflavored tea is naturally Kosher! However,
as we do not pay the fee to get our teas officially Kosher certified, we cannot
mark them as "Kosher" or "Kasher".
