He has worked for Bing & Grøndahl, Stelton, Fritz Hansen, Royal Copenhagen, Paustian, Royal Selangor and Shipmate. One of his most famous products, which has contributed to affirming Danish design in the world, is precisely the EM77 pitcher designed for Stelton in 1977.
His drawings are exhibited in museums around the world and he has received numerous design awards including the Lunning Prize, the Furniture Prize and the Red Dot. His products have received the ID Award from the Danish Society of Industrial Design several times, he was also named Designer of the Year by the Danish Design Council and won the Good Design Gold Prize awarded by the Japanese organization for the promotion of industrial design

STELTON was born from Stellan and Carton, two friends who merged their names to form one of Denmark's best-known design brands. The brand concentrates on designs that aim to satisfy the needs of consumers and at the same time be functional. Among the many designers who have collaborated with STELTON, there are some of the cornerstones of Danish design such as Arne Jacobsen and Erik Magnussen.
The STELTON philosophy foresees that form and function must create a synthesis that incorporates innovative and different ideas in terms of concept, design and materials. In the words of Mies van der Rohe "less is more". This design philosophy is the key to STELTON's success and can be summarized in four main features: Timelessness, Simplicity, Functionality, Innovation.
